VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR EAGER RESPONSE and BEING A VOLUNTEER FOR FIELD DAY.

On the morning of Field Day, all volunteers will meet behind the playground at 8:00 am to go over the schedule and plans for the day. You will receive all the information you need at this time. We will also talk about each Field Day station and answer any questions you may have. Please keep in mind you WILL stay with your child and their class for the entire time.

WATER BALLOON INFORMATION:

Please bring FILLED water balloons to the GYM ON THE MORNING OF FIELD DAY. Please do not bring them in early or leave in the office. Water balloons will need to be in labeled containers – preferably not cardboard boxes because some balloons will break during transport.
Each grade will only use the balloons donated for that grade level – we will not level out the amounts between grade levels. For example, if 5th grade ends up with 100 balloons, then those 100 balloons will be divided between the 5th grade classes only. The more water balloons we get, the longer the balloon toss will last for that grade level.

For water balloon drop off on Field Day, please take them to the water balloon area on the field by the playground and leave them in your grade’s designated area. If you are unable to do so, please the balloons in the labeled container in the gym. Please make sure the grade level is clearly labeled on every container of water balloons. Remember the balloons must be FILLED in order to be used. Placing a towel in the bottom of the container will ensure less breakage when transporting. It can take up to an hour to fill 50 water balloons so please plan ahead so the balloons will be ready for Field Day.

WATER BOTTLE DONATIONS:

This year we are asking ONLY for cases of small water bottles to be donated. We are hoping to get enough for 2 bottles per student. Please bring any water donations to the office or gym.
